Griff
recently joined Associated Talent Management,
a firm which specializes in talent/brand management
and licensing. His primary responsibility will
be to help build the music management practice,
but he will also represent a broad spectrum of
entertainment and corporate clients. Prior to
joining ATM, Morris worked 9 years and was a Vice
President for The National Academy of Recording
Arts & Sciences, Inc., where he oversaw the
legal affairs and business development of the
GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares. He holds a J.D./M.B.A.
from Emory University in Atlanta, and has served
five years on the Board of the American Bar Association's
Forum on Entertainment and Sports Industries.
He has lectured and taught courses on artlaw and
the music business at numerous Universities and
law schools throughout the country, including:
Stanford Law, Notre Dame Fine Arts School, Duke
University Law, Cardozo Law, Chicago-Kent Law,
Northwestern University, Howard University, Emory
University, DePaul University, Columbia College
Chicago, and the School of the Art Institute Chicago.
